Position Overview:

Bankers Surety is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to support our Compliance team. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the surety and insurance industry while developing professional skills in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Process and distribute incoming mail
  • Process UCC filings for new and existing agents
  • Send follow-up correspondence to obtain missing documentation for large bond files
  • Image agency files, large bond files, reconveyances, and satisfactions
  • Process and monitor lis pendens files received

What We're Looking For:

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program, preferably in business, finance, legal studies, or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
