Kaman Air Vehicles, in Bloomfield, CT, is looking for an EH&S Intern who will work closely with the Environmental Health & Safety Team for the 2026 Summer internship program.
The Kaman internship program affords an opportunity for students currently enrolled in college to gain real work experience for and provides the business visibility and opportunity to draw on local talent for future employment needs. The EH&S Intern will be assisting with environmental health and safety activities on site. This is a paid internship located at the Bloomfield, CT site for the summer 2026 term.
This internship is for Summer semester and is expected to run from Monday 6/1/2026- Friday 8/28/2026 (12 weeks) and will require 20-30 hours of availability per week.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in current EH&S Projects.
- Complete data entry, audits, and assist with training.
- Consistently use excel and PowerPoint, as well as other various internal software systems.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Moderate knowledge of environmental health and safety.
- Experience using Microsoft suite including excel and PowerPoint.
Qualifications
- Current college student enrolled in a 4-year program of study required; exiting 2nd or 3rd year preferred.
- Major in Environmental Health & Safety, or another related field, required.
