The Role:
Logitech Operations powerhouse is looking for new talent in the role of Supply Chain Trainee. If you are passionate about optimizing supply for a high growth region using data driven decision making, automation and AI, this role gives you room to not only collaborate, but improve existing processes, set up new processes or impact the wider organisation on the ways of working

As the Supply Chain Trainee, you will be responsible for optimizing the short to mid-term forecast and allocation of our customers in Europe. To do this you will need to collaborate with the Customer Collaboration teams, Category Marketing, Demand Planning, Supply Planning and Finance on a daily basis giving the best service to our customer at the right price. As an intern you will be supporting one of the Planners in their day to day improving the process and getting hands on experience.

Reporting to the Sr. S&OE Manager and Business Analytics, this role will be based in Utrecht, Netherlands.

Collaborate on the mid to long term forecast with Demand and Supply planning

  • Spotting short term trend breaks and flagging these to Demand Planning to adjust the long term forecast

  • Preparing for NPI launches and monitoring post launch performance

  • Identifying peak moments and preparing the teams for optimal execution

Collaborate with Category Marketing and Finance on In-Quarter performance

  • Identifying gaps vs. the Financial plan and setting up corrective action

  • Collaborating on focus SKUs both to have the right stock in the right place or working on clearing aged stock

  • Reporting on critical SKUs and Product group progress during the quarter

Work together with the Customer Collaboration team to identify customer needs early on

  • Alignment on the logistic capabilities of the customers

  • Prepare, secure and track Customer planned promotions/events

  • Perform Customer ordering behaviour vs. forecast analysis

Key Qualifications:

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and experiences to our team:

  • Recently graduated Master’s degree in Supply Chain or related field and in the market for your first working experience.

  • Affinity for a Supply Chain environment.

  • Understanding of demand planning and logistics

  • Versed in Office applications and data query languages like R or SQL.

  • Strong, outspoken personality that is able to guard the business' best interest in the decision making

  • Experience with Supply Chain AI solutions and automation is highly preferred

  • Strategic and critical thinking with a results-driven approach.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across global and local teams.

  • Proficiency in presenting, collaborating and data analytics.

  • Ability to creatively solve problems and innovate
