About the Role


Job Description

The Finance Intern will support the Finance team in daily accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL) functions. This role provides hands-on exposure to full-cycle accounting in a fast-paced working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounts Payable (AP)

  • Assist in processing supplier invoices and staff claims

  • Verify supporting documents and ensure proper approvals

  • Prepare payment listings and update payment status

  • Support vendor reconciliation and follow up on discrepancies

2. Accounts Receivable (AR)

  • Assist in issuing invoices and receipts

  • Monitor incoming payments and update records

  • Support customer reconciliation and follow up on outstanding balances

  • Assist in preparing AR aging reports

3. General Ledger (GL)

  • Assist in preparing journal entries

  • Help with month-end closing activities

  • Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records

4. Other Support

  • Assist in audit and tax preparation when required

  • Support ad-hoc finance projects and process improvement initiatives

  • Perform administrative tasks as assigned by the Finance team

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel

  • Detail-oriented, responsible, and willing to learn

  • Able to commit to internship period (minimum 3–6 months preferred)
