About the Role

Your area of Work:

You will be part of the Mutual Fund operations team, contributing to daily operational tasks and handling various ad hoc activities within Clearstream's Hedge Fund business.

 

Your main responsibilities:

1. Trade Operations & Confirmation

    • Manage end‑to‑end trade confirmation activities, including follow‑up on contract notes.
    • Liaise closely with transfer agents and internal stakeholders across multiple locations to ensure timely and accurate confirmation of all trades.

2. Cash Processing & Reconciliation

    • Process and track redemption proceeds, ensuring funds are received within the relevant currency cut‑off times.
    • Resolve cash‑related discrepancies by coordinating with internal teams, transfer agents, and banking partners.

3. Failed Order Management

    • Monitor and identify failed orders promptly.
    • Escalate and submit failed orders to transfer agents to ensure processing within the applicable dealing cut‑off.

4. Daily Reporting & Trade Date Integrity

    • Prepare and deliver daily operational reports to transfer agents.
    • Ensure all transactions are accurately received, booked, and assigned the correct trade date.

Other Responsibilities

    • Provide support on any ad hoc tasks or operational matters assigned.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth daily operations and maintain high service levels.

 

Your profile:

  • University undergraduate student with an interest in the areas of Operations and Investment Funds.
  • Self-motivated with an open mind to learn.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office, especially Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of Vlook ups, macros, or Power BI would be beneficial.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).
  • Excellent analytical skills, numeracy literate and organized.
