Purpose of Role

The Marketing Rookie (6-month internship) will be responsible for supporting the digital marketing operations, strategies, and projects of the marketing team, as well as managing Malaysia’s social media channels. They will have the opportunity to embark on a 360-degree learning journey and become a part of the Marketing team.

 

We will prioritize candidates who can dedicate themselves to a full-time 6-month internship.

Your Impact

DIGITAL MARKETING

  • Asset coordination and management
  • Content planning and management
  • Support media planning
  • Work closely with the graphic designer and marketing teams to support and design various project for marketing events
  • Work cross-functionally and across markets to bring campaigns to life
    • Handle seeding products for athletes, ambassadors, media and KOLs
    • Put together campaign recaps (regional and local)

 

DATA & REPORTING SUPPORT

  • Social listening reporting
  • Media and content performance reporting

 

MARKETING & EVENT SUPPORT

  • Event support, including real-time content capture and other duties
  • Working cross-functionally and across markets to bring campaigns to life
    • Liaise with suppliers and organize products
    • Manage collateral productions
    • Support on event day: administrative and logistics matters
    • Event support, including real-time content capture and other duties

 

PARTNERSHIPS

  • Liaise with partners including gyms and sports associations

 

ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT

  • Assist in Purchase Order (PO) creation
  • Delivery of seeding products
  • Arranging of seeding products upon arrival in office

Qualifications

  • Has a strong interest in Marketing and Sports/Fitness
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field preferred
  • A keen learner who is creative, detail-oriented, resourceful, and driven
  • Strong familiarity with current trends, colour and design
  • Understands the need for ownership and possesses a sense of urgency
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team where needed
  • Willing to listen, include, and respect the beliefs of teammates
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
