Become a Community Outreach Intern
Join the Girl Scouts of Black Diamond Council as a Community Outreach Intern and help inspire young girls through leadership, community engagement, and learning opportunities that promote personal growth and development. Training, supervision and coaching provided.
Two positions available!
This opportunity is made possible through AmeriCorps and the WV Promise Summer Associate Program. Great for college students or teachers looking to supplement income.
- 9 week opportunity (June 1-August 2, 2026)
- 35 hours week
- Off on Fridays
- $480 Weekly Living Allowance
- $1279 Education Award (or $311 End of Service cash benefit)
- 3 days of paid leave available
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age by June 1, 2026
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Must be available for in person assignment in Charleston, WV
- Not eligible for location change, term date changes or PTO longer than 3 days
