Overview: Hometown Financial Group is interested in opening its doors to promising, future leaders through a paid, summer internship program. We will be accepting a limited number of applicants to assist with short-term projects and miscellaneous duties throughout various departments within our organization. This will begin on June 1, 2026 and run through July 31, 2026.
Location: 32 Main Street, Peabody, MA, 01961
Application Services interns will gain:
• Insight Into Shared Service Support fundamentals
• Exposure to Applications used by departments across the organization
• Interaction with cross functional and multiple Departments Sample tasks for Application Services may include the following:
• Assist in analysis and documentation of security authorizations
• Assist with document management organization and maintenance
• Assist with HFG User management: new hires, terminations, changes
• Assist with HFG user support; unlocks, resets
• Perform system maintenance related to data quality
All summer interns may also participate in the following events and/or meetings:
-Industry specific conferences
-Participate in department specific meetings and/or corporate events with bank officers and executives
-Other events/meetings to be defined
-Meetings with management level mentor throughout internship
