A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN INVESTMENT INTERN

As an intern in our investment department, you arrive each day ready to respond to the daily needs of our Investment Department to enable your team to meet their goals in all internal and external client contact services.

This position will provide the intern with a fantastic opportunity to gain a greater understanding of the investment and wealth management business. It will also offer an excellent opportunity for interaction with investment analysts and portfolio managers on staff.

Main responsibilities would include but are not limited to:

  • Assist in compiling and delivering client meeting investment material.
  • Prepare written security reviews of all stocks, mutual funds, closely held securities, and limited partnerships held by the Company, in a timely manner.
  • Assist in generating performance reports for monthly and quarterly distribution.
  • Assist with the preparation and delivery of fund return information to clients and client contact personnel.
  • Assist in the compliance review of investment policy statements.
  • Perform special investment projects on an as needed basis.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN INVESTMENT INTERN

  • High School diploma required
  • Pursuit of a degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

WORK SCHEDULE

This is not a remote position. The intern will be required to work in our La Crosse office. This is a part-time role during both the school year and summer, with flexible hours Monday–Friday between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, scheduled around your class commitments.
