About the Role

Summer Intern – Financial Engineering Documentation

truView’s Financial Engineering team maintains an extensive body of documentation describing the market risk models, analytics, and data processes that support the platform’s business objectives.  This documentation is used internally, for client and regulatory due diligence, and in client-facing sales and marketing materials—making clarity, accuracy, and presentation critical.

We are seeking a summer intern to assist with updating and enhancing both internal- and external-facing documentation.  This role offers exposure to real-world risk modeling processes and the opportunity to work closely with financial engineers, sales stakeholders, and platform administrators.  A significant portion of the work involves client-facing sales documents, which must meet a high bar for accuracy, clarity, and visual presentation. The intern will help ensure these materials are technically sound, well-written, and professionally designed.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to tailor content to different audiences

  • An eye for detail and presentation; an appreciation for aesthetics and professional polish

  • Background in financial engineering, quantitative finance, or mathematics (at least calculus)

  • Basic familiarity with financial instruments and markets is a plus

  • Experience editing PDFs and working with wiki platforms (Confluence preferred)

  • Familiarity with Python and/or SQL is a plus

  • The ability to manage multiple ad‑hoc projects and work with diverse stakeholders

  • A self-starter mindset, including the ability to navigate internal processes and bureaucracy

This position is well suited for someone who enjoys translating complex technical concepts into clear, compelling documentation and wants hands-on exposure to the intersection of quantitative finance, communication, and client-facing work.

Salary Range:

$37,440 - $43,680 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
