As a Supply Chain Intern with PCB Piezotronics, Inc you will apply their academic knowledge to provide practical, project-focused support, collaborate effectively with the team, adhere to company policies, and gain hands-on experience that advances both personal development and the department’s goals.

Additional Duties: 

  • Works with the Purchasing team and assists team members with assigned projects and tasks. 
  • Assist in identifying opportunities to improve workflows, reporting, and standard work practices
  • Support supply chain data accuracy and maintenance activities across multiple locations
  • Provides general support to the Purchasing department as required.
  • Contributes process improvement ideas and suggestions.
  • Gains as much practical experience in the workplace related to area of study by shadowing the Purchasing team members, learning the relevant tools, systems and products and completing assigned projects and tasks.
  • Participates in team meetings.
  • Follows all PCB company policies and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned for the efficient operation of the team and PCB.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

  • Actively pursuing an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, or a related field from an accredited university or college.

Experience:

  • Basic computer skills, experience with Microsoft Office applications, strong communication skills (written and verbal), self-motivated and detail-oriented and strong problem-solving skills

Travel Requirement: 

  • As Needed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous internship or co-op experience preferred.

International Traffic in Arms Regulations

This position requires access to “controlled technology” as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. §730 et. seq.) and “technical data” as defined in the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (22 C.F.R, Chapter 1, Subchapter M). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work.
