POSITION SUMMARY
The IT Support Intern will assist in provisioning, deploying, configuring, and supporting client devices and related hardware/software across the organization. This role provides firsthand experience with laptops, PCs, mobile devices, printers, and basic networking while contributing to day-to-day IT operations. The intern will gain exposure to enterprise environments, security practices, and emerging technologies as part of a collaborative IT team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide basic technical support to end users via remote tools, phone, and onsite assistance under team guidance.
- Assist in monitoring and updating trouble tickets and IT service requests.
- Support maintenance of client hardware and software, including Windows 11, Office 365, printers, and mobile devices.
- Help track and manage inventory of IT hardware and software assets.
- Assist with device setup, imaging, and deployment for employees.
- Participate in system maintenance tasks such as updates, patches, and basic security configurations.
- Help troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues (wired and wireless)
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or certification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Relevant coursework, certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+), or firsthand lab experience preferred.
- Prior internship, part-time IT, or help desk experience is a plus, but not required.
