We are seeking a motivated Silicon Photonics System Integration Intern to join our engineering team in Shanghai. This internship offers hands‑on experience working on silicon photonics system integration, module design, and thermal simulation, providing exposure to real-world product development in advanced photonic and semiconductor technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support silicon photonics system integration, including optical, electrical, and mechanical interfaces
  • Assist in optical module design and architecture development
  • Perform thermal simulation and analysis to evaluate system‑level thermal behavior and performance
  • Contribute to design validation, data analysis, and documentation
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including device, packaging, and test engineers
  • Participate in technical reviews and present findings to the engineering team

Required Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in:
    • Electrical Engineering (EE)
    • Computer Science (CS)
    • Optical Engineering, Photonics, Applied Physics, or related engineering disciplines
  • Strong fundamental knowledge of semiconductor system and design
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
