About the Role

Welcome to ZEISS – a company that combines innovation and responsibility! Our corporate functions are diverse and make a decisive contribution to the strategic orientation and sustainable success of ZEISS. 

In your 4 to 6-month internship, you will work as part of the recently formed Innovation Excellence team in the Corporate Research & Technology (CRT) department of ZEISS. In CRT, we identify future trends, evaluate their future relevance and develop strategic target pictures for ZEISS. In all this, the InnoX team’s mission is to ensure the use of the right innovation methods and innovation processes. You will support the Innovation Excellence team with a variety of tasks.

Your role

  • Development of an innovation method & Agentic AI toolbox: collecting methods, develop templates, prepare communication documents,

  • Developing workshop concepts, incl. preparing & conducting

  • Support ongoing research projects (e.g. Foresighting to discover new business opportunities) and initiatives

  • Help communicate and promote the team’s offerings in CRT and in business units.

Your profile

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor/Master’s with background in industrial engineering, business, innovation management, communication design, or similar

  • Ideally knowledge in innovation management; Foresighting methods is a plus

  • Previous experience in a consultancy is a plus

  • Passion for innovation and enthusiasm for new technologies as well as fun working in agile, interdisciplinary teams

  • Strong competency in MS Office applications

  • Strong analytical mind and excellent communication skills

  • High level of proactivity and independence

  • Fluent in English

The position can be filled in our Munich or Karlsruhe office (Campus North). Good coffee machine and cool colleagues included! :) Option to work up to 40% remotely.
