About the Role

Location: Toms River, NJ. Onsite

Pay rate: $22/hour

Hours: Monday-Friday 8a-5p

 

Heyco Products, a PennEngineering Company, is a leading American manufacturer with 100 years of expertise. We are currently seeking an Engineering Intern to join our Engineering team. This role supports engineering projects by assisting with CAD drawings, data analysis, and process improvements while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

 

What You’ll Do:
Assist the Engineering team in completing projects, preparing technical drawings, and supporting manufacturing improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with engineers to support project completion
  • Create detailed drawings using CAD software
  • Verify dimensions, layouts, and part relationships
  • Assist with improving manufacturing equipment and processes
  • Follow engineering guidance and safety procedures

 

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in an Engineering program
  • Basic knowledge of engineering practices, math, and drafting
  • Experience in CAD, preferably Creo or AutoCad
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read technical documents and write reports
  • Comfortable applying mathematical concepts and analytical thinking
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and work in a manufacturing environment

 

Work Environment:
Indoor setting with moderate noise. PPE required in plant areas.
