About the role:

As a WPB Manufacturing Engineering Intern, you will support spare parts for operating plant mechanical and breaker products.

 

You will report to the Mechanical and Breaker Products Manager and be located at our New Stanton facility. This is a paid full-time onsite position for the summer.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support manufacturing issues in both the WPB Breaker Shop and Machine Shop through a review of processes and design of components for manufacturing
  • Develop processes and design equipment to manufacture and test new products into the WPB facility
  • Support WPB Manufacturing Engineering in identifying new equipment to enhance WPB capabilities and capacities
  • Work as part of a cross-functional team including quality engineering, manufacturing engineering, design engineering, supply chain management, marketing, customer service, and the supplier base
  • Plan and schedule work to meet assignment requirements

 

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical or industrial engineering
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Completed Sophomore year of college

 

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The hourly rate for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $22.69 to $27.50 per hour.
