About the Role

Serving the West Shore area since 1898, West Shore Bank is the area's leading Independent Community Bank making a real difference in our local communities in Benzie, Mason, Manistee, Oceana and Grand Traverse Counties.


We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Intern to join our dynamic marketing team. This paid internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of digital marketing, content creation, and campaign management. The ideal candidate will have a passion for marketing, strong research skills, and familiarity with digital tools and platforms. This role is perfect for individuals looking to develop their skills in social media marketing and multichannel marketing strategies while contributing to real-world projects.

   

  • Assist in executing digital and multichannel marketing campaigns (social media, email, print)
  • Create engaging content for blogs, social media, and email campaigns
  • Conduct market research and analyze campaign performance metrics 
  • Collaborate on branding, messaging, and e-commerce marketing strategies 
  • Support website updates, email marketing, and content scheduling 
  • Help prepare marketing materials, reports, and presentations

Requirements


  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, Google AdWords, Facebook Advertising, and email marketing platforms
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices, content marketing, performance marketing, and analytics tools like Google Analytics
  • Basic understanding of HTML coding and experience with marketing automation platforms is a plus
  • Strong research skills with the ability to analyze data effectively for campaign optimization
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to craft compelling copy for various audiences
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
  • Creative mindset with an interest in staying current on digital marketing trends and innovations
