Paralegal Intern

About your role

As a Paralegal Intern for Rocket Legal Professional Services, Inc. (“RLPS”), you will report to the paralegal supervisor and work alongside the teams of attorneys and paralegals assigned to RLPS, the Arizona-licensed ABS law firm owned by Rocket Lawyer Inc. You will have the opportunity to work on special projects, help provide limited scope legal services, and learn about and help shape the processes used by RLPS. Customer value is our North Star, so we are looking for someone who understands the unique legal situations small businesses and individuals encounter. You will see first hand how innovation and the use of alternative business structures and other regulatory reforms can expand access to justice. How you will make a difference day to day

• Provide support to the paralegal supervisor and all of RLPS. 
• Conduct legal research and analysis on a wide range of legal issues across multiple jurisdictions, as needed, to provide accurate information to customers.
• Collaborate with other legal interns, paralegals, and attorneys on document reviews, client questions, and legal research.
• Partner with the paralegal supervisor to conduct legal information consultations.
• Coordinate and complete a special project that you develop with the paralegal supervisor.

What you’ll need

• Currently enrolled in a paralegal program or certification course.
• Excellent writing, proofreading, recall, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Google Apps.
• Self-starter who will thrive in a creative, fast-paced environment. 
• Positive attitude, sense of humor, and a professional demeanor.
• Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
• Ability to work remotely and have flexibility to work across various time zones.
