Digital Development Summer Internship
Newsday offers 10-week, paid summer internships for college juniors, seniors and recent graduates who are preparing for careers in computer science or web development. The internship, which will take place at Newsday's headquarters in Melville, New York, is a unique opportunity for student developers to work side by side with professionals on our print, digital and television platforms, helping to build and maintain features that power our internal production and customer facing products.
We are considering applicants who have studied computer science or have comparable experience working with Java, Javascript, Python, PHP or other programming languages.

Internship details
- 10 weeks, June-August
- $20 hourly rate
- 40 hours per week
Hybrid schedule: Three (3) days in the office is required allowing you to work alongside members of our development team. Two (2) days a week from home.
There is a preferred candidate for this position.
