About M&D

For the past 80+ years, M&D has led the aftermarket in remanufacturing innovation to address technological advancements and changing customer needs. In the past few decades, we have expanded beyond our remanufacturing roots to develop close (and sometimes exclusive) partnerships with the world’s leading OEMs and manufacturers.

Those partnerships with key suppliers like Bosch, Garrett, Federal Mogul, Cummins, Stanadyne, Holset, BorgWarner, Delphi, Yanmar, Mitsubishi, Denso and others have been critical in honing our remanufacturing capabilities and expanding our parts offering to include new, no core options in fuel injectors and fuel pumps, diesel engine cylinder heads, blocks, crankshafts and connecting rods. M&D also stocks a complete assortment of turbos (new and remanufactured), inframe overhaul kits, filtration and aftertreatment parts including DPFs, DOCs, EGRs, sensors and other engine parts.

Position Summary 

M&D is seeking a highly analytical MBA Intern to help build and scale the data infrastructure behind our growing ecommerce and marketing operations. This role will focus on developing automated reporting, performance scorecards, and actionable insights that directly influence business strategy.

This is a high-impact opportunity to work on critical initiatives aligned with M&D’s strategic priorities, including ecommerce growth, marketing efficiency, and operational scalability.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Ecommerce Analytics & Scorecard Development

  • Design and build a comprehensive ecommerce performance scorecard to track KPIs such as revenue, conversion, traffic, AOV, and channel performance 
  • Aggregate and automate data flows across multiple platforms (e.g., ecommerce systems, analytics tools, internal databases) 
  • Identify performance trends, anomalies, and areas of concern; provide actionable insights to leadership 
  • Partner with ecommerce, operations, and sales teams to define and refine key metrics 

Marketing Performance & ROI Optimization

  • Develop automated reporting and dashboards for marketing performance across channels (paid media, email, organic, etc.) 
  • Analyze CAC, ROAS, attribution, and channel efficiency to guide budget allocation 
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses to uncover optimization opportunities and improve ROI 
  • Support the development of scalable frameworks for measuring marketing effectiveness 

Data Automation & Infrastructure

  • Build and maintain automated data pipelines to reduce manual reporting and improve data accessibility 
  • Integrate data across systems using tools such as SQL, APIs, and BI platforms 
  • Ensure data integrity, consistency, and scalability of reporting solutions 
  • Document processes and recommend improvements to M&D’s evolving data architecture 

Strategic Insights & Business Impact

  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for cross-functional stakeholders 
  • Support leadership with data-driven recommendations tied to growth, efficiency, and profitability 
  • Contribute to key strategic initiatives tied to ecommerce expansion and digital transformation 

Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.


Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

  • Currently pursuing an MBA (Analytics, Strategy, Finance, or related field preferred) 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience working with large datasets 
  • Proficiency in tools such as SQL, Excel, Python, or BI platforms (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) 
  • Familiarity with ecommerce and/or digital marketing metrics preferred 
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment 
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate data into business insights 
  • Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screening.
