About the Role

The Simmonds Precision Business Management Intern position is designed to build business and leadership skills and could act as a pipeline for full-time roles.  Interns will help manage vehicle fleets, handle customer service, analyze data, and execute marketing strategies, directly contributing to site operations. 

 

Key Responsibilities and Duties

 

Operations & Customer Service: Assist Customer Account Managers in managing customer inquiries and order entry.

Sales & Marketing: Assist Business Development Manager and aftermarket team in analyzing and tracking new business opportunities.

 

Business Management: Learn how accounting, cost control, and profit-and-loss (P&L) statements are handled at the site as well as generate presentations for leadership consumption.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications

 

Education: Pursuing a degree in Engineering, Finance, Business, Program Management or related fields.

 

Citizenship: US. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

 

Technical Skills: Exposure to Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables or data management tools.  Prior experience in sales, customer service, marketing, or management a plus.

 

Analytical Abilities: Ability to map business processes and identify gaps.

 

Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for documentation and cross-functional collaboration.
