About the Role

Description

Family Tree Farms is looking for an Accounting Intern for the summer of 2026. This position is located in Reedley, California and will be flexible around your class schedule. The Accounting Intern will assist team members on various tasks and projects related to multiple domestic and international agriculture operations. This is a great opportunity to get hands on experience in an agriculture based business.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

  • Assist with Income Statement & Balance Sheet Maintenance & Reviews of multiple entities
  • Assist with budgeting
  • Assist in in-depth analysis of GL
  • Assist with Cost Accounting
  • Accounting Software Analysis
  • Data Analytics
  • Auditing

Requirements

  • Prefer junior or senior students (but not required) enrolled in an Undergraduate or Graduate degree program.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written communication skills and computer proficiency.
  • Strong Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to work with peers and other functional groups as a team.
  • Confident verbal and written communication skills for interacting with internal and external company.
  • Experience in agriculture is a plus but not required.

WORK SCHEDULE AND TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

  • Summer of 2026 with potential for a continued part time internship through the fall and spring.
  • Hours will depend on class schedule.
  • Must have valid driver’s license and be insured.
