The University of Helsinki Trainee Programme for International Master Students is open to all international students enrolled in a University of Helsinki master’s programme.
We are now looking for two TRAINEES for the Department of Digital Humanities!
As a trainee, you will contribute to a research group’s research and/or infrastructure activities while gaining hands-on experience in a collaborative research environment. The exact tasks will depend on your background and interests but may include, for example:
- assisting with the preparation and organisation of research data and digital materials
- supporting computational, technical, or experimental research workflows
- helping coordinate data collection or other research activities
- contributing to shared research resources, tools, or documentation
- assisting with basic data processing or analysis
The position is intended as a learning opportunity, and responsibilities will be adapted to the trainee’s skills and interests. You will gain experience with a variety of research methods and digital tools while working closely with researchers and other team members.
The duration of the traineeship is from 1 September to 31 December 2026 (four months) of part-time (55%) work, leaving time for studies as well. The salary of a trainee is €825 per month for a part-time (55%) trainee.
