We invite you to be part of our "best in class" team at our Philadelphia Plant in Hospital de Órbigo (León) through a 12-month full-time internship. With over 50 years of history and being a benchmark in the dairy sector and an economic driver in León, this is an exceptional opportunity to learn, grow, and leave your mark in a multinational, dynamic, and constantly evolving environment.
Your Challenge and Contribution: As a Continuous Improvement Engineering Intern, you will be part of our team, driving operational excellence and manufacturing efficiency. From day one, you will have the opportunity to:
Actively participate in focused continuous improvement teams, applying and learning methodologies such as Lean - Six Sigma and IL6S (Integrated Lean Six Sigma).
Observe, analyze, and challenge existing practices and processes used in the plant.
Monitor KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), identify causes of potential deviations, and propose corrective actions.
Train and support plant personnel so they understand and can implement the actions and methodologies to be applied.
Participate in the selection of process improvement ideas and support their implementation.
Contribute to the rigorous compliance with Quality and Food Safety, People Safety, and Environmental Protection standards.

Who are we looking for? You are the ideal candidate if you have:
Academic Background: University degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, Food, or similar).
Previous Experience (Not essential): We value if you can contribute with some previous experience in production plants, especially with a focus on continuous improvement. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification will be a plus.
Tools and Languages: Proficiency in MS-Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and a high level of English (written and spoken) is essential.
Proactive Attitude: Quick learning ability, initiative, excellent teamwork skills, and an open mind to face new experiences.
Key Skills: Effective communication at all levels, motivation, listening skills, creativity, and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Note: For your participation in our internship program, it will be necessary to sign a collaboration agreement through FGULEM.
