The Opportunity

We're creating our first-ever MBA Summer Internship, and we want the right person to help shape it. This isn't a support role. It's a substantive, high-visibility position working directly with senior leadership on initiatives that matter to the firm right now.

Momentum is in active transformation: rethinking processes, adopting AI-powered tools, and empowering our teams to work smarter. Your role will be to help us get there: diagnosing complex operational challenges, designing intelligent solutions, and driving real implementation. You'll leave with something concrete to point to.

What You'll Do

Projects will be defined and scoped collaboratively, but will draw from areas like:

  • Identifying and prioritizing automation opportunities across Momentum's operating functions
  • Designing and prototyping AI-driven workflows that reduce friction and improve team efficiency
  • Evaluating emerging AI tools and building a framework for how Momentum adopts and scales them
  • Translating ambiguous business problems into structured, technology-enabled solutions
  • Presenting findings and recommendations directly to senior leadership

Qualifications

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Is currently enrolled in a full-time MBA program (all years eligible for consideration)
  • Has genuine enthusiasm for AI, automation, and the future of work; not just familiarity, but hands-on curiosity
  • Has strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to move from insight to action
  • Is comfortable with ambiguity; this is a first-of-its-kind role and we'll build it together
  • Has excellent communication skills; you can make complex ideas accessible to a non-technical audience
  • Is based in or willing to relocate to Dallas for the summer (full-time, 5 days on-site required)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience building or deploying AI tools (LLMs, automation platforms, workflow tools)
  • Background in private equity, growth investing, or multi-entity operating companies
  • Track record of leading cross-functional initiatives or change management efforts
  • A GPA of 3.5 or above
