Smith+Nephew seeks a HSE candidate to join the Fort Worth Vickery manufacturing site.

The role will allow an enthusiastic individual to contribute to the health, safety, and environmental controls for manufacturing of a S+N product with the goal of helping our patients live a Life Unlimited. The ideal candidate is always curious but applies rigor to any problem they choose to solve. The candidate is able to work independently, but also in full collaboration with other team members. The position will be based in Fort Worth, TX.

What will you be doing?

  • This opportunity will involve working with a HSE partner to execute health, safety, and environmental controls related to the manufacturing processes for wound care.

  • Responsibilities include support the facility for any HSE needs from the manufacturing of a pharmaceutical product.

Planned Start Date: Jun 2026

Program Length: 12 weeks

Location: Fort Worth, TX (Vickery )

What will you need to be successful?

Education:

  • Enrolled in a bachelor’s program for a relevant environmental science degree or related field

Experience:

  • Previous applicable intern, co-op, part-time or apprenticeship experience is preferred

Competencies:

  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects along with multitasking

  • Strong understanding of data analytic techniques and the ability to implement these approaches.

  • Works very well in a collaborative, fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment, and thrives under pressure.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Software: MS Project or Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
