This role supports our Express 4x4 Truck Rental team. Established in 1993 and acquired by Sasser in 2013, we offer flexible and affordable, mid- to long-term ½-ton, ¾-ton and 1-ton pick-up truck rentals for or clients, with a commitment to on-time delivery, anywhere in North America.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Intern to support our Accounting & Finance team with high-level organization, data cleanup, and process improvement tasks. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in maintaining accurate financial records and improving data integrity within an accounting system.
Responsibilities
Assist with processing cash applications and recording payments accurately
Support invoice uploads and management within customer portals
Assist with recording asset sales (e.g. trucks) in the general ledger and internal system.
Provide general support to the accounting team, including administrative and operational tasks.
Assist with accounts receivable activities, as needed.
Help prepare reports, spreadsheets, and summaries for internal use.
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Note: Responsibilities include the expectation to always act to support the interests of the department and organization and to perform other duties as assigned to ensure the successful achievement of departmental and company objectives.
Qualifications and Experience
College Student pursuing degree in the accounting or related field.
Skills
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Excel
Ability to work on multiple tasks
Ability to work independently or within a team environment
Good people skills and ability to collaborate well with others
Strong attention to detail
Energetic, positive attitude, self-starter with good follow-through, flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with staff and outside contacts
Physical Demands
Ability to operate in a professional environment and routinely use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machines, filing cabinets, and printers
Compensation
The hourly rate for internship opportunities is: $17.50 to $23.50.
The hourly rate depends on factors such as knowledge, skill level, experience, and education level. This role is classified as non-exempt for purposes of all applicable wage and hour laws, which means that the individual hired will receive overtime pay for more than 40 hours worked in a workweek.
Working Conditions
Hatboro, PA office with occasional remote work flexibility.
