2026 Associated Insurance Internship

Program Description

Associated Insurance Internships are 10-weeks in length, hybrid. The internship is based in our Cincinnati, OH office and interns will gain experience in the following areas:

• Commercial Insurance Lines
• Group Benefit Insurance Lines

Each internship will play a valuable role in the department’s functions and activities, and every intern will report to an experienced team member. In addition to the on-the-job insurance exposure and training, each intern will participate in:

• Departmental Overview Training – Classroom style training on all aspects of each department that comprise Associated Agencies, including: Commercial Lines- Middle Market, Commercial Lines– Program Business, Personal Lines, Life Insurance, Group Benefits, and 401(k).
• Career Development Training – Online training on the basics of an insurance agency, commercial, personal, and group benefit insurance lines. Additionally, robust online training on Microsoft 365 Essentials. Combined with classroom style training on various topics and career paths within the insurance industry. Plus, offsite visits to our carrier partners within the Chicagoland area.
• Mentorship – The ability to connect with multiple Associated Leadership Team Members.
• Engagement Events – Various FUN engagement events with the team.

Requirements

• Current or rising seniors, with an expected graduation year of 2026 or 2027, currently enrolled in a relevant degree program with a major in Risk Management and Insurance, Finance, Marketing, Accounting, Business Administration, and Information Systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong problem solving and project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
