JOB SUMMARY

The Parts Service Business Analytics Intern will support the Parts Planning team by assisting with Parts & Service sales data analysis, demand forecasting support, and market‑based pricing analysis.


This role involves the use of Excel, Power BI dashboards, and AI‑assisted analysis tools to support data‑driven pricing and Parts business decisions. The internship is designed for currently enrolled undergraduate students who are interested in aftermarket (Parts & Service) business, sales analysis, forecasting, and data‑driven decision‑making within a professional business environment.


 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF JOB

The primary responsibilities of the Parts Service Business Analytics Intern include the following:

1. Parts & Service Sales Data Analysis

  • Analyze historical Parts & Service sales data by product group, part category, dealer, and region.
  • Identify sales trends, seasonality, and demand patterns related to aftermarket and service parts.

2. Forecasting & Demand Planning Support

  • Assist with sales and demand forecasting using historical data and trend‑based analysis.
  • Provide analytical inputs to support Parts & Service demand planning and pricing discussions.

3. Market & Pricing Analysis

  • Conduct market and competitor pricing research related to Parts & Service products, including support for competitive price comparisons.
  • Support price benchmarking between internal pricing and external market levels.
  • Assist in analyzing the impact of pricing changes on sales volume and revenue.

4. Reporting, Visualization & AI‑Based Analysis Support

  • Support the development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards.
  • Assist with data validation and preparation of reporting materials for management review.
  • Utilize AI‑based tools to support competitive price research, data summarization, trend identification, and analysis efficiency for Parts & Service sales and pricing data.

5. Cross‑functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Parts Sales, Service, Marketing, and Planning teams.
  • Support ad‑hoc analytical requests related to aftermarket sales performance.

6. Other duties as assigned.

 

 

EDUCATIONAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Currently enrolled Undergraduate student (Sophomore, Junior, or Senior preferred).
• Preferred majors include: Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain & Operations, Industrial Engineering, Business/Data Analytics.
• Strong interest in Parts & Service (Aftermarket) business, sales analysis, pricing, or forecasting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Power BI or similar reporting tools is a plus.
 • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
