LaFrance Corp is currently seeking a Marketing Intern.
This is a hybrid role.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation: research and development of new tools for digital outreach, using AI platforms/apps to develop toolkit to be used for targeting and account development (videos, decks, GIFs, etc)
- Marketing Collateral: develop and improve materials for use by our Account Development team including physical display board creation using existing templates that showcase trends, marketplace sightings, and product spotlights
- Research: in-depth review of trends in design, branding, and business strategy within existing and target industries/accounts
- Department Assistant: support Marketing Associates in a variety of tasks including execution of creative marketing campaigns, assembly of physical display boards, trip preparation (display set-ups and packaging of materials), creation of industry-specific & business unit focused email blasts, inventory management for industry-specific materials, taking product photos for use in digital/physical displays
- Team Meetings: attend a variety of industry team meetings, help compile notes and support follow-up actions as needed
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational and time management skills and have the discipline to focus on (and achieve) long term goals, while still managing short term needs.
- Must be highly motivated, creative, and capable of working independently and as part of a team
- Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills
- Must be able to set goals and devise strategic plans to accomplish those goals
- Excellent computer skills including Canva, Microsoft Suite (Teams, OneDrive, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Filmora or other video editing skills a plus
- Understanding of AI Tools such as ChatGPT and others is a plus
- Majors of interest: Marketing, Communications, Business
