About the role

This intern role is to provide support to the planning & forecasting analyst or finance controller. This includes managing the preparation of annual and monthly forecasts and budget or preparation of balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries and execution of internal control in accordance with Haleon Internal Control Framework. Alongside, preparing monthly finance reports for the finance directors/controllers to evaluate performance.

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide support to the market with the preparation of the monthly forecast (CMF), Annual Business Planning (ABP), Standards Setting (FLIP) and ad-hoc tasks.
• Responsible for the preparation of the monthly Sales, CoGs, A&P, OPEX (overall P&L) and Cash Flow forecast.
• Accountable for creating, updating and maintaining financial models to provide detailed monthly and quarterly forecasts for the market.
• Perform variance analysis to explain differences in performance.
• Submission of CMF and ABP into BISON system.
• Provide Record to Report transaction processing support and ensuring delivery quality in terms of accuracy, completeness, and timeliness on a daily basis.
• Perform analytical review of profit and loss accounts and balance sheet, cost center checks and transaction posting checks.
• Review of monthly balance sheet schedules & reconciliation where required. Liaise with respective stakeholders of balance sheet reconciliations, specifically open items.
• Execution of internal controls in accordance with Haleon Internal Control Framework.
• Ensure compliance to hub policies, local company legal and statutory requirements.
• Ensure stakeholders queries are attended to and resolved in a timely, responsible, and proactive manner.
