If you are looking to start your career in Health, Safety, Environment and Facilities within a global organisation, this internship offers hands on exposure to real operational activities that make a difference every day.
Based in Milan Sesto San Giovanni, you will support both office and warehouse environments, learning how strong HSE and Facilities processes help protect people, operations and the environment.
What will you be doing?
As an HSE and Facilities Intern, you will work closely with experienced professionals, supporting the implementation and maintenance of Health, Safety, Environment and Facilities activities across our Milan offices and Agrate warehouse. Your days will be varied and practical, from supporting risk assessment documentation and internal audits, to helping coordinate safety and environmental training and keeping key HSE records up to date.
Alongside this, you will contribute to the smooth running of day to day facilities operations. This includes coordinating maintenance activities, supporting supplier documentation, processing purchase orders, and working with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure continuity of services. Throughout the internship, you will gain valuable insight into ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards, Italian HSE legislation, and how Facilities and HSE teams collaborate to support a safe and compliant workplace.
What will you need to be successful?
Success in this role comes from curiosity, organisation and a genuine interest in HSE and Facilities. You will thrive if you bring:
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Safety, Prevention or a related discipline, with a strong interest in workplace safety and environmental compliance
Basic knowledge of HSE regulations and management systems such as ISO 45001 and ISO 14001, with the motivation to deepen your understanding
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint, with strong attention to detail
Fluent Italian and a good professional level of English, combined with a proactive, organised and collaborative approach
We offer:
Full time (39h/week) curricular or extracurricular agreement (6+6 months)
Paid internship (1100 euros/month)
This internship will require you to be 2 days per week on site, but there may be periods of full on‑site presence – Office in Sesto San Giovanni (Milan) and the warehouse.
