About the Role

Job Description Summary

We are looking for a motivated graduate in Power Engineering (or related field) to join our team in Dubai. The selected candidate will support ongoing activities related to power system analysis, with exposure to optimization and advanced grid applications, working closely with experienced engineers. This role offers exposure to advanced power system applications (including EMS-type environments), with a strong focus on learning, analytical thinking, and professional development within a collaborative team.

This is a 1-year full-time trainee position offered under a hybrid working model in Dubai, with the possibility of extension to up to 2 years.

Job Description

What you'll do:

  • Support the team in power system analysis and optimization-related activities

  • Assist in preparing and validating data used for engineering studies

  • Contribute to analytical tasks related to network performance and system behavior

  • Support the development of simple tools or scripts (e.g., Python) when relevant

  • Collaborate with team members on ongoing EMS / advanced application topics

  • Participate in technical discussions and progressively take ownership of small tasks

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer or relevant engineering functions from an accredited university or final year students having the ability to join full time

  • Basic understanding of power systems (load flow, network fundamentals)

  • Interest in analytical / optimization topics applied to power systems

  • Fluency in both Arabic and English

  • UAE Nationals holding a Family Book are encouraged to apply

What will make you stand out:

  • Some exposure to programming (e.g., Python or similar) is a plus

  • Curious mindset, problem-solving attitude, and willingness to learn

  • Good communication and teamwork skills

  • Previous internship or project experience in engineering roles
