Summer Worker - Technical Writer

We’re excited to share that we’re now accepting applications for a number of summer job opportunities at our site in Uppsala during the summer of 2026. The summer job positions are spread across various parts of our organization, ranging from manufacturing and R&D, to logistics, quality control and general administration. 

We’re looking for a summer worker to join our TechDoc department to assist in the creation of customer-facing instructions/manuals and validation guides. At TechDoc, we are responsible for customer-facing instructions/manuals and validation guides for all Cytiva products, to make sure the documentation is aligned across the product portfolio and fulfills regulatory, legal and branding requirements.  

As a summer worker with us, you’ll get the opportunity to support the team in migration/re-branding, clean up and update of instructions/manuals and validation guides in our Content Management System (CMS), setting up product documentation structures in our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system and web publishing. You’ll also support the team in various steps in the creation of customer-facing user documentation and correcting/updating information in our CMS, PLM and web systems, together with us. 

What you’ll do 

• Migration, re-branding and clean-up of instructions/manuals​ and validation guides   

• Support ongoing projects with updates of instructions/manuals and validation guides 

• Update and clean-up information in CMS, PLM and web systems 

• ​​Miscellaneous supportive tasks to the team, such as supporting with illustrations, print specifications etc 

Who you are 

• Ongoing studies within Biotechnology, Computer Science, Technical Writing or relevant field.  

• Knowledge about Technical Writing, CAD or illustrations is a plus.  

• Experience working with CMS system such as RWS Tridion is an advantage. Experience of working with Oxygen XML Editor and/or Enovia PLM System/Magic, InDesign or FrameMaker is a plus.  

• You communicate fluently in English and Swedish.
