About the Role

For our Global Travel Retail and International Distributors business, as of July 2026 for a period of 12 months, we are looking for an:

Intern - Controlling, located in our HQ in Kilchberg

The Controlling Intern has a key role in the GTR/DIS Finance team, located at the head quarter in Kilchberg. In our global team structure, the Controlling Intern is responsible for the efficient and effective execution of central, operational finance tasks covering several regions and is the owner of the Finance processes.

The Controlling Intern is a hands-on person, who has a strong background in Finance, Controlling, Accounting, is thinking strategically and is adapting quickly to changing environments.

In this internship, you are closely working with the Sales and Marketing Controller, Head of Controlling and CFO in Kilchberg, and in addition will support the Regional Finance Managers around the globe in their responsibilities. You will gain insights into Performance Management, Reporting, Planning/Forecasting, Data Management and Digitalization projects.

Finance Organization

Global Travel Retail and International Distributors are two divisions, directly reporting to the Group Management. We are operating globally in the travel retail market (Global Travel Retail) and in the fast-growing emerging markets (International Distributors). As a result, we are working in highly volatile and dynamic markets with a vast future potential. Due to our ambitious growth targets, we are offering a job in a demanding business environment, which requires taking responsibility and engaging as a change agent with an entrepreneurial mindset as well as committing to deliver always highest quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Analysis
    • Support in generating and analyzing the sales part of P&L in monthly & yearly closings
    • Controlling of target delivery on customer- and product-contribution level

  • Data Governance
    • Support in data management, including master data maintenance
    • Ensure high data quality throughout all processes

  • Financial Planning and Forecasting
    • Preparation, coordination and consolidation of monthly sales rolling forecast
    • Support in generating and coordinating the planning cycles (budget, latest estimates)
    • Providing insights and strategic advice through scenario modelling

  • Management and Financial Reporting
    • Preparation of management and financial reporting, including performance dialogues and CEO comments
    • Support for ad-hoc requests for analysis from management, sales, marketing and according understanding for the GTR/DIS business

  • Project support for improvement of Finance tools & applications (BI/Reporting, Planning Tool, Contract Management, etc.)

Qualification

  • Minimum Bachelor degree with focus on Finance / Business Administration
  • Strong interest in Finance & Controlling
