About the Team:

The product team at Neuron7 is new and growing! You’ll join a design + product team working to launch Neuron7’s next wave of innovation and to establish a leading product management development practice at Neuron7. As an early member of the team, you’ll have the opportunity to have significant impact on both product direction and on the team’s practices. Most of Neuron7 is based in either the Bay Area and Bangalore.

Role Summary 

The Product Design Apprentice will participate in a structured, one year apprenticeship program governed by the Apprentices Act. The apprentice will receive hands-on, on-the-job training while supporting product and design teams building AI powered solutions for service-oriented domains such as call centers, field service, and customer support operations. 

This role is designed to develop early career talent and create a potential pipeline for future employment based on performance and business requirements. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Support product and design teams with execution focused tasks 

  • Assist in creating UX/UI artifacts for service and support focused applications 

  • Help document user journeys, workflows, and pain points in service, call center, or field service contexts 

  • Participate in design reviews, usability discussions, and feedback sessions 

  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and data teams 

  • Learn and apply fundamentals of designing for AI assisted and data driven user experiences 

Required Qualifications 

  • Graduate engineer (2025 or 2026 passout) 

  • Foundational understanding of product development, UX/UI, or software systems 

  • Interest in enterprise software, service operations, or customer support workflows 

  • Strong willingness to learn in a structured, on-the-job training environment 

  • Good communication and collaboration skills 

Preferred Skills & Exposure 

  • Academic projects or internships related to:  

  • Service management systems 

  • Call center or customer support platforms 

  • Field service or operations tools 

  • Basic familiarity with AI concepts such as automation, recommendations, or decision support 

  • Exposure to design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, or similar) is a plus 

Program & Employment Details 

  • One year apprenticeship program under the Apprentices Act 

  • Annual cost per apprentice: INR 600,000 (approx. USD 6,700) 

  • Post program outcome (internship, fulltime employment, or separation) will be evaluated based on performance and budget availability
