The Role

This role is a strong opportunity for someone interested in music, digital marketing, audience strategy, fan engagement, and campaign performance.

The intern will support day-to-day audience development activity across artist and repertoire campaigns, helping the team understand audiences, track performance, and contribute to fan growth and engagement strategies. The role offers hands-on exposure to digital platforms, audience insights, and campaign planning within a fast-paced music environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Audience Development team with campaign set-up, tracking, and reporting

  • Assist with analysing audience and platform performance across social, CRM, and digital channels

  • Monitor fan engagement trends, content performance, and growth opportunities

  • Conduct research into audience behaviour, digital trends, competitor activity, and best practice

  • Compile weekly and campaign-based reports with key findings and actionable insights

  • Support the creation of presentations, recap documents, and internal updates

  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, digital, commercial, and creative teams where needed

  • Contribute ideas for audience growth, fan engagement, and campaign optimisation

Skills and Experience Required

Must have

  • Strong interest in music, entertainment, digital culture, and fan communities

  • Interest in audience development, marketing, analytics, and digital strategy

  • Strong analytical skills with good attention to detail

  • Strong organisation and time management skills

  • Curious, proactive, and eager to learn in a collaborative environment

Nice to have

  • Any level of experience with executing & reporting on any / all digital media technology platforms

  • Any level of experience of a range of digital analytics / demand side platforms and their operations

Key Behaviours

  • Familiarity with social and digital platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Discord, Tumblr, etc 

  • Basic understanding of analytics tools and reporting

  • Passion for audience insight, fan behaviour, and culture
