About The Company
WelbeHealth provides full-service care to help seniors age well at home and in their community, often at no cost. Services include medical, coordination, home care, dental, transport, physical therapy, prescriptions, social activities and meals. Founded by a seasoned group of physician entrepreneurs, our leadership team hails from leading payer and provider organizations such as GoHealth Urgent Care, BAYADA Home Health, AirStrip Technologies, Evolent Health, and On Lok. With funding from leading venture investors, we're looking for team members who are inspired to help us deliver on our mission of unlocking the full potential of the most vulnerable seniors. Our colleagues are energized by working in diverse groups toward our shared purpose, are eager to drive groundbreaking innovations, and have the courage to care for our participants with empathy and love.
About the Role

At WelbeHealth, we’re driven by a shared purpose: to serve our communities’ most vulnerable seniors with compassion, innovation, and heart. Our values—shared intention, pioneering spirit, and the courage to love—guide everything we do, and our participant-first approach is at the center of it all.

As a WelbeHealth Summer Intern, you’ll work directly with an Executive Director at one of our PACE centers, gaining hands-on experience in healthcare operations while contributing to meaningful, real-world impact. This is more than an internship—it’s an opportunity to help shape how care is delivered to seniors while building the skills and relationships that will launch your career.

You’ll be immersed in both the day-to-day operations of a center and broader, organization-wide initiatives. Along the way, you’ll connect with senior leaders through weekly learning sessions and networking opportunities designed to accelerate your growth.

What You’ll Do:

  • Partner with center leadership to support daily operations and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Contribute to strategic projects that advance WelbeHealth’s mission and enhance participant care
  • Analyze processes and recommend solutions that drive efficiency and impact
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with clinical and operational teams
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold the highest standards of professionalism
  • Adapt quickly in a dynamic environment where priorities evolve

What You Bring:

  • Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
  • A strong interest in healthcare operations and a desire to build a career at WelbeHealth
  • Proven leadership ability and sharp analytical thinking
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
  • Must be willing to be local to a California WelbeHealth PACE center (onsite internship; mid June-mid August)

Why WelbeHealth?
You’ll join a mission-driven organization where your work truly matters. We’re looking for someone who is motivated, curious, and inspired by the opportunity to improve the lives of seniors. If you’re ready to learn, contribute, and grow alongside a team that cares deeply about its participants and each other—we’d love to meet you.

Compensation is based on a per diem hourly rate. WelbeHealth provides a comprehensive rewards package that includes a 401(k) match and accrued sick leave. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other relevant qualifications.
