Digital Banking and Cash Management Intern 

Position Summary: Provide support to our Digital Banking and Cash Management team by providing professional service to customers and branch personnel. Support involves maintaining customer records, supporting cash management, and banking operations. 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform all processes and procedures necessary to maintain customer records including but not limited to:
    • Pulling Data to assist with Annual or new Cash Management relationship reviews
    • ATM/Debit Card activity – card ordering and card maintenance
    • Review Dime Online activity reports, complete maintenance
    • Review Positive Pay Alerts
    • Cash Management Account research, such as searching archived records for copies of checks or statements
    • Assist Centrix Dispute Research as needed
    • Scanning and imaging account records
  • Review customer correspondence relating to account maintenance 
  • Provide courteous and professional services for customer questions and concerns with prompt responses and resolutions
  • Provide courteous and professional support for branch personnel
  • Maintain customer and account document files, which may include scanning or filing
  • Perform other duties as may be required from time to time and requested by management


Deposit Retail Operations Intern

Position Summary: Provide support to our Deposit Retail Operations department by carrying out general clerical and administrative procedures necessary for maintenance of customer records and accounts. Provide excellent customer service in accordance with the bank’s philosophy, culture and policies.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs all processes and procedures necessary to maintain customer records including but not limited to:
    • Data entry into the Core Operating System
    • Day 2 balancing
    • Daily Review of QC reports
    • Update customer information files (CIF)
    • Perform account transactions and field maintenance (stop payments, holds, product changes, etc.)
    • Overdraft Privilege (ODP) correspondence and maintenance
    • Safe deposit box maintenance
    • Account research, such as searching archived records for copies of checks or statements
    • Process returned mail
    • Scanning and imaging account records
  • Generate customer correspondence relating to account maintenance and operations functions
  • Provide courteous and professional services for customer questions and problems with prompt responses and resolutions
  • Provide courteous and professional support for branch personnel
  • Maintain customer and account document files, which may include scanning or filing
  • Perform other duties as may be required from time to time and requested by management


Retail Administration Intern

Position Summary: This internship will support Retail Administration through a focused project involving the collection and analysis of branch operations data, including all daily activities performed, volumes of customer visits at our various branch locations during different hours of operation. The role will contribute insights and recommendations to help inform staffing needs and branch hours of operation, ensuring alignment with business demands to increase efficiencies and enhance customer experience and successful business outcomes. 

Responsibilities:

  • Support retail branch resource planning and operating models 
  • Participate in data collection and analysis related to transactions, sales goals, business development activities and branch hours of operation 
  • Devise methods and tracking tools to gather information related to non-customer activities to present a comprehensive overview of daily work 
  • Compile findings, help develop insights and recommendations to support enhanced branch performance, growth and appropriate staffing levels 
  • Complete work and design a professional presentation to illustrate findings with supportive documentation in the appropriate format 
  • Collaborate with support departments and branch teams to coordinate gathering, tracking and assessing final outcomes


Marketing /Communications Intern

Position Summary: This internship will be to assist our Marketing and Communication department on a part-time basis with content creation, website updates, and event coordination while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include maintaining digital content, supporting community outreach initiatives, assisting event coordination and event preparation, and handling administration tasks. 

Social Media: create a content calendar and report out weekly on the market competition and data analytics. Content calendar includes hands on work with film, photograph, editing, and scheduling. 

Website: update low-stakes content regularly including rates and job openings.

Headshots: project manage from start to finish a ‘headshot day’ where all customer facing employees get a new photo in our newly renovated lobby. 

Community Calendar: scrub Chamber websites for networking functions, add them to the community calendar, and curate the Blue Crew and Officer Emails 

Participation in Community Events: support the team with preparation (gathering marketing materials, supplies, etc.) as well as having the opportunity to experience the community events

Administrative Tasks: provide administrative support through:

  • Answering general emails and phone calls 
  • Ordering business cards and nametags (if applicable at that time)
  • Coordinating materials and supplies for events including pickup and drop off
