About the Role

Allient Inc. currently has an internship opportunity with our Human Resources team in Oshkosh, Wisconsin! This internship provides exposure to select human resources functions, including HR operations, employee records management, compliance, benefits, training and development, employee programs, workplace safety, and HR research and analytics. The Human Resources Intern will assist with daily HR activities and participate in projects that support organizational initiatives while gaining practical, hands‑on HR experience. Apply now! 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with and support day‑to‑day human resources operations and administrative activities 
  • Support the maintenance, organization, and auditing of employee records and HR documentation 
  • Assist with data entry, tracking, and reporting using spreadsheets and HR information systems 
  • Participate in compliance‑related activities, including audits, documentation reviews, and recordkeeping 
  • Assist with updating HR materials such as policies, forms, job descriptions, and training resources 
  • Participate in HR projects related to employee programs, workplace safety initiatives, and process improvements 
  • Support benefits‑related projects, including data collection, analysis, and reporting to support decision‑making 
  • Support employee HR‑related training and development initiatives under supervision 
  • Conduct research and summarize findings to support HR initiatives and informed decision‑making 
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with professionalism and discretion

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Basic understanding of HR principles and practices
  • Prior office, administrative, or internship experience preferred but not required
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to follow established processes while exercising sound judgment
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
