POSITION OVERVIEW
 The Corporate Sales & Hospitality Intern will support corporate partnerships, hospitality operations, and premium guest experiences before, during, and after race and track rental events. This role focuses on executing hospitality logistics, supporting corporate sales initiatives, and ensuring seamless experience for partners, clients, and guests.

This internship provides hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced sports and event environment, offering opportunities to develop new skills and make a meaningful contribution to the NSS team across multiple high‑impact projects. Work hours and focus areas are flexible based on availability, skills, and interests.

 A commitment of approximately 20 hours per week for a minimum of seven weeks is preferred, with some availability on Saturdays
 and Sundays. Participation during NASCAR race week and weekend (May 29–31, 2026), including a commitment of 20+ hours, is a
 required component of this internship program. Additionally, there may be an opportunity to extend the internship to support the NTT INDYCAR SERIES race week and weekend (July 18–19, 2026), contingent upon staffing needs and workload demands.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES but not limited to:
 
-Support Corporate sales hospitality programs across all race events and track rental events 
 -Assist with pre‑event, event‑day, and post‑event logistics for all hospitality areas, including suites, club spaces, and sponsor 
 areas
 -Assist with pre‑event, event‑day, and post‑event logistics for the fan zone area
 -Prepare and organize event materials, hospitality credentials, signage, and client resources 
 -Assist in the creation, organization, and distribution of training materials for hospitality staff and volunteers 
 -Support volunteer coordination and logistics, including scheduling and on‑site needs 
 -Assist Corporate sales staff with client communications and on‑site hosting responsibilities 
 -Support premium guest check‑in, wayfinding, and hospitality operations during race weekends 
 -Work closely
with the Marketing department to ensure sponsor social media posts and graphic requests are executed in 
 accordance with contractual obligations
 -Track hospitality details, guest feedback, and post‑event follow‑up items 
 -Assist with tracking sponsorship inclusion across digital platforms, social media, and venue signage 
 -Provide hands‑on, on‑site support to ensure a high‑level experience for partners and guests 
 -Assist clients with hospitality‑related needs, including general questions, ticketing, premium experiences, fan zone displays, etc. 
 -When needed, the Corporate Sales & Hospitality Intern will assist the Administrative Intern with administrative tasks, logistical 
 coordination, and operational support during race weekends
 
 REQUIREMENTS
 -Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and telephone) 
 -Self‑motivated individual who proactively seeks additional responsibilities upon project completion 
 -Strong hospitality and customer service skills with a willingness to assist wherever needed 
 -Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment 
 -Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail 
 -High level of professionalism and dependability; ability to represent NSS positively at all times 
 -Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Canva and/or CAD experience is a plus 
 -Positive attitude: work hard, stay flexible, and enjoy the experience
 
 PHYSICAL & WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
 -Ability to work both in an office setting and outdoors in varying weather conditions 
 -Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 20 pounds 
 -Valid driver’s license required (Motor Vehicle Record check required) 
 -Ability to use a personal vehicle for local pickups or deliveries, approved mileage and travel expenses will be reimbursed
 
 GROWTH FROM THIS POSITION

 
-Develop best practices for Corporate sales and hospitality operations within a large‑scale motorsports event environment 
 -Gain an understanding of pre‑event, event‑day, and post‑event hospitality execution, including premium guest and partner 
 experiences 
 -Learn how the Corporate Sales and Hospitality team collaborates with multiple departments to deliver seamless events and client 
 experiences 
 -Gain exposure to sales support processes, including client servicing, hospitality logistics, and post‑event follow‑up 
 -Understand the importance of operational preparation, communication, and service standards in supporting successful corporate 
 and guest‑focused events
