About the Role

ALLIANCE is building a Data and Development Department to leverage Big Data and modern engineering practices to strengthen our analytics capabilities and deliver exceptional financial services to our members. The Data / Developer Intern supports these efforts by assisting in the development, maintenance, and improvement of data systems, applications, and internal tools that enable analytics, reporting, and operational efficiency across the organization.

This role contributes to the processing, validation, and utilization of data across both batch and near real-time use cases while gaining exposure to modern data platforms, software development practices, and cloud-based technologies. Working alongside data engineers, software engineers, analysts, and DevOps, the Data / Developer Intern helps ensure that data and systems are accurate, reliable, and aligned with business needs.

Through hands-on experience, the intern will support the exploration of datasets, assist in building and improving pipelines and services, and contribute to technical solutions that enhance data accessibility and usability. This role provides an opportunity to develop foundational skills in both data engineering and software development while contributing to meaningful, production-impacting work within the organization.
