NeueHealth is seeking an Accounting Intern for the summer of 2026.  The Accounting Intern position is designed for a detail-oriented individual who is eager to learn, explore new concepts, and gain hands-on experience in accounting operations. Under the general supervision of the Accounting Manager and/or senior accounting staff, the intern will support day-to-day accounting activities and assist with month-end close processes.

The intern will also have opportunities to analyze and interpret data, learn accounting systems and processes, and contribute to special projects as needed. This role offers practical exposure to corporate accounting functions in a collaborative, learning-focused environment.

This is an onsite position at our location in St. Louis Park.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assisting with journal entry preparation.
  • Supporting account reconciliations.
  • Tracking accruals and payments.
  • Preparing financial reports, analyzing and interpreting data.

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

  • Experience and comfort with Microsoft Office systems (Excel) is required
  • Experience with Oracle/SmartView is preferred
  • Must be currently enrolled in a college-level program pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance and/or Accounting
