About the Role
<p>🌟 The <strong>Procurement Intern</strong> will be responsible for supporting the Corporate Services Procurement team in day-to-day purchasing activities, vendor coordination, and administrative tasks to ensure smooth and timely procurement operations.</p><div><br></div><p>📋 The duties and responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to, the following:</p><ul><li><p>Assist in sourcing vendors and requesting quotations for various company needs</p></li><li><p>Support canvassing and comparison of supplier prices, quality, and lead times</p></li><li><p>Help prepare purchase orders and monitor status of requests and deliveries</p></li><li><p>Assist in receiving and checking delivered items against purchase requests</p></li><li><p>Maintain and organize procurement documents such as purchase orders, delivery receipts, and supplier files</p></li><li><p>Help update procurement trackers and reports for monitoring purchases and usage</p></li><li><p>Coordinate with team members in monitoring stock levels of office supplies and materials</p></li><li><p>Assist in encoding and updating system entries (e.g., Arrival Details in AX, if applicable)</p></li><li><p>Provide general administrative support including filing, documentation, and data entry</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Admin, Finance, and other departments for procurement needs</p></li></ul><p>🎯 What we are looking for:</p><ul><li><p>Currently taking up Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or other related courses</p></li><li><p>Good communication skills: Able to clearly express ideas both in written and verbal form</p></li><li><p>Detail-oriented: Ensures accuracy in data entry, documentation, and tracking</p></li><li><p>A quick learner and open to feedback</p></li><li><p>Proactive: Takes initiative and follows through on assigned tasks</p></li><li><p>Organized: Able to manage files, documents, and multiple tasks efficiently</p></li><li><p>Team Player: Willing to collaborate and support team members when needed</p></li><li><p>Willing to learn procurement processes and systems</p></li></ul>
