Your Role
Are you passionate about data analysis, and their applications in real-world semiconductor manufacturing? Our production management team is looking for a motivated and talented working student to support us in conducting in-depth data analysis to optimize processes. If you don’t meet every requirement listed but are excited about the role, we encourage you to apply.

Key responsibilities in your new role

  • Data is everything: You conduct data analysis, including data preparation, exploration, and visualization, to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement in semiconductor operations
  • Keep the overview: You document key findings, workflows, and results to promote efficient knowledge sharing and foster collaboration within the organization
  • Creative mindset: You generate innovative ideas to enhance operational efficiency and decision-making through data analytics and automation
  • Your Team: You will be part of a large supply chain and production management team within our Automotive Division that values open communication, mutual support, and continuous learning. We work closely with our central operations, marketing, and experts from different domains to turn data into impact


Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

  • Study field: You are currently pursuing a degree in (Business) Informatics, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related technical field
  • Experience: You have a solid foundation in data analytics and their application to solve real-world challenges. A basic understanding of the semiconductor production and supply chain is a plus
  • Motivation: You are curious about how data can improve real production environments and enjoy working with people from different backgrounds and disciplines
  • Skills: You possess expertise in data analysis, particularly with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) in Tableau, advanced Excel skills (VBA) as well as proficiency in programming languages including Python, R, and SQL. A basic understanding of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence and how to apply in operations is beneficial
  • Personality: You are a motivated team player with strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and great interest in working in supply chain management and production management
  • Way of working: You work proactively, with the ability to self-organize and structure your work. Regular presence on site helps you integrate into the team, exchange ideas directly, and experience the headquarter of a large semiconductor company
  • Language skills: You have excellent English communication skills, and proficiency in German is an added advantage

Important information:
  • Working part-time: The focus is on studies. That’s why working as a student employee during lecture period is limited to a maximum of 20 hours per week.
  • Students (according to the German law) are welcome: To work as a student employee with us, you must be enrolled at a university and not have completed all of your exams or modules for your degree program. You must not be in a semester of leave. We look forward to welcoming you to our team for at least 6 months.
  • You should live close to the site: For good collaboration, it is important to us that you can come to the office regularly to integrate to the team.
