Quality Engineering Technical Hardware Internship (M/F)

We are looking for an intern who supports our Technical Hardware Team for at least 6 months. As a member of the team, you will be involved in assisting mainly the Quality Manager and the Product Development team in everyday responsibilities, providing a supporting role to help to reach deadlines and objectives.
The ultimate goal of the Development team is to develop and execute the most innovative, technically advanced products in order to meet company goals and to ensure Salewa, Dynafit and Wild Country quality standards. Your role will be to help the team in achieving these objectives.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Assist the Quality Manager in creating technical specifications

• Execute goods inward inspection
• Support the product testing in the lab by use of appropriate machinery
• Support on Prototype testing and development
• Help to manage workloads/tasks to ensure timely completion

Profile

• University student or degree in engineering or a similar field
• Previous internships in a similar field are considered a plus
• Understanding of technical drawings
• Very good English or German skills, Italian is a plus
• Proficient knowledge of MS Office and CAD (Solidworks), knowledge of Adobe Illustrator is an advantage
• Passion for mountain sports/climbing
