About the Role

Verisure, operating under two brand names (Securitas Direct & Verisure) is seeking a talented, analytical and passionate Group Operations Strategy Intern. The role will be part of a growing and talented Business Improvement Team and will report directly into our Group Business Improvement Lead. The role will support the definition and execution of key operational and financial priorities, with a strong focus on data accuracy, performance reporting and cross-country alignment You will contribute to analytical workstreams and develop insights that inform strategic decisions, supporting the Operational and Financial Strategy of the Company

Strategic context and Value proposition

The Business Improvement Team is a relatively small team that reports directly to the Group CFO. The team has the responsibility for designing and implementing critical strategic projects for the Company at international level. You will have a very wide vision of the business and geographies, with special focus on Operations, but also in Strategy, Technology, Service, Product and Marketing Portfolio among others. The team is currently overseeing an optimisation and transformational project (Fit for Growth) looking for efficiencies and aiming in the long run at transforming our service and the way we operate.

Currently, the Business Improvement Team works in close collaboration with our local market organizations in KPI development, best practice sharing, execution of improvement initiatives, and assessing financial impact from committed projects. The team also has the responsibility of reporting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), identifying gaps, and ensuring countries are driving improvements where needed.

As a Group Operations Strategy Intern, you will have the opportunity to learn about multiple sides of our business and to support team members in the execution of some of the most important strategic projects of the company. The projects are very diverse; however, they all share the application of analytical capabilities, together with a business mindset, to deliver operational and efficiency improvements.

Over the longer-term, there will be many opportunities for personal and professional development within the team and in the Company as a whole. Responsibilities will include:

  • Take responsibility for preparing and maintaining monthly performance materials
  • Partner with the country operational teams to ensure data consistency, accuracy and alignment of monthly closing information across countries, safeguarding data integrity and resolving discrepancies proactively
  • Implement updates and structural improvements in existing reports whenever required, ensuring that all performance views reflect the most accurate and up-to-date reality of each country
  • Oversee and optimize data loading processes, identifying inefficiencies and proposing/executing enhancements to streamline workflows and improve reporting reliability
  • Contribute to the development of business cases and complex analysis across different domains, applying strong analytical capabilities to quantify impacts, assess scenarios, and support strategic decision-making

This person will report directly to the Group Business Improvement Team Lead.

Candidate profile

Experiences and Qualifications

We see this role as critical for the achievement of Verisure’s growth and organizational transformation goals.

  • Bachelor’s degree (or on-going) in a quantitative or business-relevant field, ideally complemented with a master’s degree in data analytics, business analytics, economics, finance, engineering, etc.
  • Fluency in English essential
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills, with a strong bias toward data-driven decision making and the ability to translate datasets into clear business insights
  • Advanced Data skills, focused on SQL and PowerBI (either on the analytical side or in reporting/data-modelling environments)
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Experience collaborating and working with different cultures, across different geographies, under time and scope pressure in the delivery complex projects with high quality output
