ROLE SUMMARY:

We're excited to bring on a Legal Intern to join our Legal team for Summer 2026. In this role, you'll gain hands-on experience supporting legal research, honing your legal writing skills, and participating in weekly department meetings. You'll collaborate with cross-functional partners across the business and receive one-on-one mentorship from experienced in-house attorneys. This is a great opportunity for a college student considering a career in law who is eager to learn how a dynamic consumer brand operates from a legal perspective.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Own and deliver reports and analyses with guidance from the team
• Conduct research on various topics that impact the Legal team and the broader business 
• Help prepare materials, reports, or presentations used by the Legal team
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas or perspectives
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners 

REQUIREMENTS:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with an interest in pursuing a Juris Doctorate after graduation
• Previous internship, coursework, or project experience in pre-law (preferred)
• Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
• Self-starter, eagerness to learn and take initiative
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment or independently 

WHAT YOU’LL TAKE WITH YOU:

• Gain hands-on experience working on real projects that impact the Legal team and Dollar Shave Club’s business
• Receive mentorship and feedback from Legal team to support your growth
• Develop skills in legal research and legal writing through practical application
• Learn how a Legal team operates within an in-house environment

POSITION TYPE:
This is an hourly position, working 24 hours per week (Tuesday - Thursday).

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This internship is in-office, working out of our HQ in Durham, North Carolina 3x a week.

PAY:
$20/hr
