About the role


This is an internship role within the Information Technology department and under the Information Security Office Group.

 

2026 Auctane Summer Internship Program:

Eligibility:

Must be currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate university program. Students graduating in May 2026 are not eligible for the program

Duration:

Paid, 9-week internship 

Schedule:

40 hours per week, with the exception of the week of July 4th.

Program Dates:

  • June 9, 2026 — First day of onsite orientation
  • August 13, 2026 — Final day of the program

Location:

Hybrid role based in Austin, TX

  • In-office: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
  • Remote: Monday and Friday

Interviews:

Interviews will be conducted on a rolling basis through March 31st

What will you be doing?

  • Develop preventative and detective controls based on gaps identification
  • Help secure cloud and corporate IT infrastructure
  • Identify threats and develop remediations against those threats
  • Working with the global security team to learn and support security programs and their success

What are we looking for?

  • Eagerness to learn and be curious about technology and security problems
  • Experience in Computer Science, Software Development, Data Science, Cyber Security or similar courseworks
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

What will make you stand out?

  • Experience in AWS/GCP, Containers, Python, C#, and similar technologies
  • Located in or near the Austin, Texas area
