Job Summary

Air Systems is looking for an Engineering Intern for our Building Automation Systems (BAS) Department in San Jose, CA.

Schedule: 40 hours/week, M-F

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Help apply HVAC, electrical, building automation and energy efficiency best known methods and theory to design building automation systems using both ALC and Distech controls
Survey project sites
Review MEP design documents and generate RFIs
Help create BMS design drawings and submittals
Support material procurement
Support installation team, technicians, and project managers

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Strong interest in HVAC systems.
Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with project management software is a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated and eager to learn about construction processes and HVAC systems.
